David focuses his practice on the defense of employers, insurers, self-insured employers, and municipalities in contested workers’ compensation claims in the State of Vermont. David also routinely defends clients in personal injury, construction, and general liability claims. David’s experience covers all aspects of the litigation process, including administrative hearings, depositions, trials, and complex appeals. David has represented clients before the Vermont Department of Labor, Vermont Superior Court, and Vermont Supreme Court.
Prior to joining the firm David was staff counsel for one of the nation’s largest auto insurance carriers, where he gained extensive litigation experience. Throughout his career, David has served as lead counsel in taking numerous jury trials to verdict, as well as several hundred bench trials.
