Tom is a past president of Vermont chapter of the American Board of Trial Advocates and a fellow of the American College of Trial Lawyers. He has been selected for inclusion in The Best Lawyers in America in the specialties of Personal Injury Litigation and Alternative Dispute Resolution.
He has represented individuals and corporations in a range of civil litigation including medical negligence, wrongful death, product liability, serious personal injury, construction, condemnation, business disputes, airplane collision, and fire losses. Tom has an A-rating with Martindale-Hubbell, the leading survey of attorneys.
He taught for years at the University of Vermont. He lectures frequently on litigation topics. He has written for publications as diverse as The New York Times, Family Circle and Vermont Life.
Tom and his wife, Robin, have seven children. When he isn't working, he's probably driving the kids somewhere.
