An honors graduate of Burlington High School, the University of Vermont and Stanford Law School, Dan's professional focus is the courtroom, where he has been privileged to represent his alma mater (the University of Vermont), the State of Vermont, insurance carriers and fellow Vermonters. From time to time he lectures in legal education seminars, and he has served his community as a member of the board of the Sara Holbrook Community Center, as an assistant coach of the Burlington High School hockey team and as a hockey coach for Burlington Amateur Hockey Association.  Dan is also the firm's techno-gweed.

Dan and his wife, Jane, have two beautiful children. At an age when many prefer to sit on the sidelines, Dan still enjoys playing competitive hockey and rollerblading to work. He also enjoys working with his hands, fishing, skiing, hiking and canoeing.
